You know that chubby kid from your childhood photos? Well, that’s me in a nutshell. I was always the kid that would fight his way through (and over) other kids in order to get to the cake first. Also the last to leave the cake alone. I don’t remember the time when I didn’t enjoy food. It is not that I am a gouger, or something like that guy from Seven, but I have always liked to eat. I come from such a family, as that is often the case. You all know those families that have pork chops for breakfast and where everyone is a bit overweight but always with a smile on their face.
The good thing is that I also managed to turn my love for food into a profession. Namely, I am a chef now, or at least used to be until I found out that it is much more rewarding to be a restaurant reviewer. That is what I do now and I can tell you that it is pretty much a dream job. Not just for people who like eating, but for everybody. I honestly cannot think of a better job, not that I am bragging. I am just happy that I have a career to show to those who made fun of me when we were in high school. I am now travelling around the world, all expenses paid, dining at the best restaurants of the world and staying in the best hotels you can imagine. Plus, I get paid to do that.
Also, I would like to come out and say that I never really minded the fact that I am overweight. I am not obese, but I am somewhere on the border, with a BMI of 28, or 29 after a big fat meal. Somehow I managed to look past all the teasing in childhood and especially in high school. I always kept that old saying that the insult is only insulting to the one who says it, or something like that, I don’t remember it that clearly anymore. I remember when I first read this saying and I have always kept it at the back of my mind. I also married a woman that is a hundred times more beautiful than any of the wives of those jocks that made fun of me. So that is another win. All in all, being overweight never really bothered me.
However, it seems that being overweight started to bother my body about a year ago. Sure, everyone told me that I might have medical problems due to my weight, but I somehow always thought that this is something that happens to other people. However, at my regular physical a year ago, my doctor told me that y blood pressure is getting too high and that I should do something to lose some weight. I knew that I have no time and discipline to exercise as much as I should and that my profession will not allow me to stop eating delicious, unhealthy food. So, I decided that I should try with a little help.
I first thought about the prescription weight loss pills, but when I found out what side effects are included in that ordeal, I said that I would rather have five heart attacks a day than suffer through that. So, I decided to go with something natural and everyone I asked recommended Slimberry. So, I tried and I am still marveling at the results. In about two weeks, I managed to lose 8 pounds. In a month, I lost almost 15. On top of all that, I feel much more energetic now and I even feel stronger. I am still enjoying in my job and Slimberry made it all happen.
