You can call it corny, you can call it lame, whatever, but my husband and me are high school sweethearts. Sure, he would be really angry if he knew that I shared this with pretty much everyone who stumbles upon this article, the high school sweethearts thing that is. He hates that
expression and he is always trying to come up with new ways to describe the fact that we are, in fact, high school sweethearts. As if there was something wrong with that. It takes commitment and lots of love to stay with someone for, what is it now, 35 years. Yup since we were 16. We are now 51, so yeah, 35 years.
And when you spend enough time with someone, you sort of synch. I don’t know if this is a scientific fact, but you do. I am sure that most of you who have been with someone for a long time understand what I am talking about. When I am hungry, he is hungry. When I feel like a drink, he does as well. I guess it is a way that nature rewards you for sticking with someone for long. I don’t know, I am no psychologist or anthropologist. I am sure someone explained this in detail.
The same way we did pretty much everything in our lives, we did getting fat. I am not talking about clinically fat, but we got a bit pudgy, to say the least. Once again, a great benefit of synching- neither of us stays thin and stays attractive while the other one gets bigger. We both get bigger; it is like no one is getting bigger.
However, us becoming overweight was not something that we could ignore. It was visible. So, we decided to do something about it before we start having medical issues. One of our friends recommended Slimberry to help us get back into shape. My husband is not the most appreciative of people when it comes to stuff like that, but he was willing to give it a try. And it really worked. We started taking Slimberry three times a day and we soon started having a little competition to see who is losing more weight thanks to Slimberry. So far, I am in the lead, with 12 pounds to 9. Still, there is all to play for as we go into the second round.
